About Us

After graduating from Koç University’s Department of International Relations with a full merit scholarship, Burcu completed her master’s degree in the same field at Middle East Technical University (METU). She then worked as a research assistant at METU for eight years. During this time, she experienced the unseen, unspoken, isolated, and repressive layers of academia. These layers taught her that knowledge must be carried not only in the mind, but also in the body and the soul.

Listening to the growing call in her heart, she left behind the armor of institutional security and turned her life in an entirely new direction. In 2019, her yoga teacher training with Zeynep Aksoy and David Cornwell became not only a professional transformation, but also a rebirth. Alongside the Yoga Alliance certified teacher training program, she also completed “8 Weeks of Stress Reduction, Yoga and Meditation” teacher training and worked as an assistant to Zeynep Aksoy and Ulli Allmendinger. She also served as the coordinator of the Wellbeing Department at Advayta Bomonti.

Over time, her field of expertise expanded to include Aerial Yoga, Face Yoga, Breath Coaching, Art Therapy, foundational and advanced studies in Ayurveda, as well as Aromatherapy. Yet her true specialty was not in accumulating knowledge, but in transforming it into lived wisdom that flows through the body.

Today, Burcu shares her content on healthy and conscious living through the platform Live to Bloom, and continues to bring holistic living, ancient self-care rituals, mindfulness, and breath practices to individuals, groups, and the corporate world. Through her role as a corporate wellbeing curator, she guides employees toward a calmer, more fulfilling, and meaningful way of being—not only at work, but throughout life. She also designs individual and corporate retreats, weaving them at the intersection of mindfulness, play, and creativity.

As the founder of Woman to Woman, a digital platform centered on women’s empowerment, and Buba Life, a natural self-care & beauty brand, she transforms her personal practice into a collective invitation. She also continues her academic journey through the PhD program in Women’s Studies at Kadir Has University.

In her free time, Burcu searches for meaning in her own stories through painting and clay. She also enjoys cooking and bringing friends together around long tables. Most recently, she has been deepening her practice of listening to her body’s voice through contemporary dance.
